This shouldn’t be a big deal if you’re selling a newly constructed home. But if it’s a house that has served you for years or if you inherited it, investing in repairs might be a wise move. Addressing the cosmetic issues will help you increase the property’s value. Potential buyers easily notice things like squeaky floorboards, chipped baseboards, and cracked tiles. They might not talk about them but they’ll obviously make sure they reflect in their offers.
